The Media Internet supports professional and novice content producers and is at the crossroads of digital multimedia content and Internet technologies. It encompasses two main aspects: Media being delivered through Internet networking technologies (including hybrid technologies) and Media being generated, consumed, shared and experienced on the web.

1st Future Content Networks (FCN) group of the Future Internet Assembly worshop - 20th January

The Future Content Networks (FCN) group of the Future Internet Assembly (FIA) consists of researchers from both the Industry and Academia, with an excellent knowledge on future content networks, either from a network architecture perspective or from content services perspective.

The first FCN workshop will take place in Brussels, 20th January 2010

The main objective of the workshop is to identify the objectives of the break-out (BO) sessions that will take place in FIA Valencia and beyond, and how the FCN group can contribute to them.

Participation in the meeting is by invitation only, but the results will be available on this web-site.
