CODECO is a cognitive, multi-layer, and highly adaptable Edge-Cloud management framework with a unique orchestration approach that provides support for data management and decentralized governance data workflow; dynamic compute download and compute status; and adaptive network services (TRL5).
At the core of the CODECO framework are decentralized learning mechanisms that preserve privacy to i) reduce latency and power consumption from the far edge to the cloud; ii) adjust the real-time calculation to the available Edge-Cloud constraints; (iii) adjust running services to application needs, data sources, surrounding context; (iv) benefit from a flexible network infrastructure that adapts to the needs of active services; and (v) democratize technology for faster market adoption of the toolbox, as well as the products and services derived from it.
