\nOn February 6th, in Brussels, \u00abEasyTV: Easing the access of Europeans with disabilities to converging media and content\u00bb<\/a> project\u2019s representatives joined other EU-funded project teams to discuss and share, to learn from each other and to find synergies and possibilities for future collaborations. This Concertation meeting is a follow up of the one of previous year\u2019s, and this time new participants form recently launched projects are welcomed to participate.<\/p>\n

The senior researcher Silvia Uribe from Grupo de Aplicaci\u00f3n de Telecomunicaciones Visuales (GATV) attended the event representing the European H2020 Project EasyTV, because Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid is a partner in this research for creating technological tools to facilitate access to information of people with disabilites in our continent. The project is part of the collection of 26 funded projects selected for sharing their skills in this event.<\/p>\n

Other interesting projects in the event included ImAc<\/a> about immersive accessibility and SOMA (Social Observatory for Disinformation and Social Media Analysis)<\/a>. Following the European Commission Communication<\/a> on tackling online disinformation, SOMA has been launched to provide support to a European community that will jointly fight disinformation! For that reason, the observatory supports experts in their work against disinformation providing useful infrastructure and connection with a wide community of experts to collaborate in specific tasks.<\/p>\n
