UPM held at Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación the kick-off meeting of European project Easy TV: Easing the access of Europeans with disabilities to converging media and content (Grant Agreement: 761999), coordinated by GATV.
Members from the different partners from Spain, Italy and Greeece attended to the meeting. The Consortium comprises leading research institutions, like Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Centre for Research & Technology (CERTH), partners from audiovisual sector like Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA), and accessible services development such as Engineering (Italy) and ARX.NET (Greece). On the end-users side, two associations of disabled people: UICI (Italy) and FCNSE (Spain), key partners for requirements gathering and developments validation.
The two-days meeting concluded with a social dinner at Paulino de Quevedo restaurant.
