Smart Cities around the world are finding innovative solutions on city living. That is purpose of the Smart Cities Conference 2019 hosted by KPMG China included in the programme of the Start Me Up HK Festival developed in Hong Kong during the dates 21st-25th January 2019, where FIWARE technology was presented by Federico Álvarez from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
The Connected Cities will be showcasing innovations for the next generation of city living. In the Innovation Panel, researchers including Federico Álvarez from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, were featuring examples of a number of smart cities and technologies from around the world including IoT and Data Analytics to enhance a city’s liveability, workability and sustainability.
This same week the team of FIWARE MUNDUS co-hosted a workshop with 30+ high-level participants in Hong Kong Government OGCIO along with WeGov.org and the EU Office to HK to address “The future of Open Governance & Innovation in Asian Cities”.
